Shows title tag (with character count — optimal 50-60), meta description (optimal 150-160 chars), robots directive, canonical URL, viewport tag, and charset declaration. Flags missing or suboptimal values with specific recommendations.
Displays the complete H1–H6 heading structure in document order. Warns about missing H1, multiple H1s, skipped heading levels (H1 → H3 without H2), and empty heading tags. Each heading shows its text content.
Shows how the page will appear when shared on Facebook (OpenGraph tags: og:title, og:description, og:image) and Twitter (twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:image). Renders a visual preview mockup for both platforms.
Scans every image on the page and reports the alt text coverage ratio (e.g., "9/12 images have alt text"). Lists all images missing alt attributes with links to highlight them on the page.
Counts total links on the page, broken down by internal vs external. Identifies links with generic anchor text ("click here", "read more") that should be more descriptive for SEO. Flags nofollow vs dofollow ratios.
Each check gets a color-coded status: green (pass), yellow (warning), red (error). An overall SEO score (0–100) summarizes the page's optimization level. Issues are prioritized by impact.
Before launching a new page, run SEO Inspector to catch missing meta descriptions, absent OpenGraph images, broken heading hierarchies, and images without alt text. Fix these before search engines crawl the page.
Run the inspector on your existing pages to find SEO issues that accumulated over time — outdated meta descriptions, broken canonical URLs, or heading structure that degraded during content updates.
Inspect competitor pages to see how they optimize their meta tags, what keywords they target in titles and descriptions, and how their heading structure organizes content.
Before sharing a page on social media, check the Social Preview section to verify the OpenGraph image, title, and description look correct. Catch missing og:image tags before the link is shared.
Content writers can run the inspector to verify their posts have proper heading hierarchy (H1 for title, H2 for sections, H3 for subsections), appropriate meta description length, and images with descriptive alt text.
Open the DevSuite Pro floating dock and click the SEO Inspector icon. The tool immediately scans the page's HTML for all SEO-related elements.
A comprehensive report appears with sections for Meta Tags, Headings, Social Preview, Images, and Links. Each section shows pass/fail results with details.
The overall SEO score (0–100) gives a quick health indicator. Focus on red errors first, then yellow warnings, to improve the score.
Click any issue (missing alt text, broken heading hierarchy) to highlight the affected element on the page. Scroll to it automatically.
Make fixes in your code, reload the page, and run SEO Inspector again to verify improvements. The score should increase as issues are resolved.
